New York

A few years ago Brett's dad took his two sons and his son-in-law to Alaska on a fishing trip for his 50th birthday, so it was only apropriate that his mom take her daughter and I to New York for HER 50th birthday :) Which is where we were last Thursday thru Tuesday. We had an absolute blast staying with the daughter of a family who used to be in Jeanie's (Brett's mom) ward and her husband and doing as much as possible while we were there. Every night we would come home exhausted from walking so much. It was so fun to spend time with them, especially Erika, who we don't get to see much because she lives in California. It was also fun to have my friend from elementary, jr. high, and high school, who lives in Connecticut, come to hangout with us for a day. 

It will definitely be a trip I will always remember.
