Valentines Day
For Valentines Day we made a yummy dinner of steak, twice baked potatoes, salad, & Molten Lava Cake and ate it in the candlelight. Brooklyn was such a big helper and loved the idea of eating in the light of 2 big birthday candles! We loved sharing our candlelight dinner with our sweet girl!
I enlarged this picture so that you could see Brooklyn trying to blow out the candle.
Here are our Valentines goodies.
I am so thankful for the people in my life who I can love and know that I am loved back!
I am one lucky lady!!
Brooklynisms
One of the highlights of having a 2 year old is listening to their vocabulary expand and the way they make up words. Here are some of Brooklyn's funny works lately...
- "Fisk it" for "fix it"
- When we go to the hospital for my Dr. appointments she loves to ride the "alligator" (elevator).
- She calls the game "twister" "rooster" - it took me a while to figure out what she was saying on that one :)
- Her pom poms are her "com coms" or her "webers"
- And the other day she walked in and said "I'm crying, hold you."
Gotta love her!!
