Last Wednesday Brett, Brooklyn and I headed to Lagoon. We couldn't have picked a better day to go! All the schools had started except for Davis County and it was the middle of the week so it was EMPTY!! I'm talking you could ride Colosus, Wicked, pretty much any ride more than once without getting out of your seat. Brooklyn was just shy of 36 inches, which is how tall you had to be to ride most of the rides, but she still had plenty to ride with mom and dad including; Tidal Wave the guy let us on even though she wasn't tall enough, flying aces, all the kiddie rides that allowed adults to go one too, Draculas Castle, the Merry Go Round she loved that, the train, and the Ferris Wheel. She wasn't sure about the rides while we were sitting there waiting for them to start and even tried to climb off of some, but as soon and they started she seemed to like them and would even say "weeee" in sort of a nervous tone. I'm not sure if we scarred her from wanting to go on them again next year or made her more brave :) Here are some pictures from our fun night...
Waiting for the Train
The poor little thing was running down the streets in Pioneer Village, tripped and hit her face on the cement :( So...daddy used his basketball shooting skills and won her a teddy bear to help her feel better. She LOVED it! This picture also shows her perma-scraped knees. Once one heals she scrapes another one...clumsy girl.

22 Months
- She is mom's little shaddow. She loves to help me vaccum/dust, get ready with me in the morning, help make dinner or bake, etc.
- She's talking up a storm, nothing more than two word sentences though. For the most part she pronounces words really well, but there are a few times where we have to think hard to figure out what she is saying. She amazes us with how many things she knows the names for, for instance I gave her whip cream out of a can probably a few months ago and today when Brett was putting it on his waffles she heard it and said "whip cream" at first I had no idea what she was saying then she walked over and pointed to the can and said "whip cream". Sure enough it sounded just like whip cream. I had no idea what she was saying because I had no idea she knew what that was.
- She loves/still loves to go for walks, blow bubbles, play with rocks, play in dirt/sand, go for golf cart rides, finger paint, push objects (balls, crayons, tupperware, etc) in her stroller.
- She loves Baby Einstein DVD's. It the only movie/show that will keep her attention for more than 5 secs.
- She still loves to wipe down stuff like she is cleaning. I'm hoping that she will still love to clean when she gets older :)
- Got two more teeth (left top & bottom eye teeth). Just two more to go before she gets her two year old molars.
We love this little girl and have so much fun with her, I just hate how fast she is growing!

She is soo pretty! I miss her and can't wait to get to know her better!
