3 Months

I know I say this ALL THE TIME, but where has the time gone!! One of mine and Brett's favorite thing to do is tell each other "Can you believe it's been this long since we did this?" or "I can't believe that was that long ago!" It seems like yesterday we were stopping to see Chase and Taylor's new apartment on the way up to the hosptial after my water broke, I was in no hurry as you can tell, and saying "I need to sit down for a minute, my contractions are getting stronger." And in that moment thinking, I can't believe we're going to have a new baby boy in our family in just a few hours! Then BAM he's 3 months old :)
This little grunt has already brought so much joy to our family! I never new how much little boys could still a mom's heart, but he sure has! I just adore the heck out of him. I am a mom of two awesome children and I could not feel more blessed!

Here is a little bit about Stetson at 3 months:
  • He hates laying flat on his tummy just like his sister did. He likes it more if he is propped up on the Boppy pillow
  • He loves to be swaddled with one arm out..Brooklyn had to have both out.
  • Still doesn't care for the binki, or is atleast very picky about when he will take it.
  • He loves to stare people in the eye and loves to be talked to. You can tell that he has so much to say and OH how I wish that he could speak his mind, because I know he would tell me how awesome heaven is. This little boy has a feeling of the spirit like no other.
  • He has started smiling and cooing and as of Saturday laughing see video below

  • He is an easy going baby except for when it comes to his bedtime, 7:30/8:00. He likes to be in bed at his bedtime, but it usually takes a little more to get him to sleep than it does for his naps.
  • He still wakes up once or twice at night.
I hate to see him grow so fast, but we are excited for what is to come! Even through the hard days I try and enjoy every minute, because before too long just like everything else we will be saying, "Remember the good 'ol days?
And of course I have to post a picture of my Brooklyn :)
